River Dwellers Ministries, based in Fort Myers, Florida, is a transformative women's discipleship program founded by internationally renowned speaker and author, Christy Sawyer. The ministry fosters a diverse and dynamic community of women, inspiring them to discover and fulfill their divine callings.
Through engaging teachings and community building, River Dwellers helps deepen participants' relationships with Jesus and promotes personal growth and empowerment.
Our Story
It all started with a six-week study course on the Holy Spirit, which extended to a full year due to the profound interest and spiritual hunger from the participants. This unforeseen extension created an overwhelming outpouring of "rivers of living water," as referenced in John 7:38, effectively marking the inception of a spiritual revival.
From this wave of spiritual awakening, River Dwellers Ministries was born, with its foundational belief anchored in the promise that “where the River flows, EVERYTHING will live” (Ezekiel 47:9).
Christy, a mother, grandmother, and adventure enthusiast, pours her passion into the ministry, aiming to guide people towards Jesus and empowering them to embrace and fulfill their God-given destinies. Her dedication and unique, transparent style of speaking have turned River Dwellers Ministries into a beacon of spiritual transformation and empowerment.
